Best Mexican food I've had in ages. It hasn't been "Amerized" which makes it authentic in my book. Today we had tacos and Texas fajitas.
I had a chorizo taco which was utterly delicious It had lots of meat and a little pico de gaeo on top. The other taco was Pastor and that was interesting. Pastor is a chef-controlled meat marinade. This one tasted as though a Little vinegar was used. It was interesting, though not my favorite.
Once again the service was excellent and I strongly recommend this establishment for genuine Mexican cuisine. -

I was craving Mexican. After reading reviews, we choose Super Mex Bar & Grill. We were greeted warmly upon entering and had attentive & friendly service.
The chip are hot, crispy, and thin...yummy.
I ordered Top Shelf Margarita and Super Mex Bowl with Chicken. My husband had Frisco Burger. Food was average. The bowl was very soupy, taste was OK. My husband said Frisco is better at Steak & Shake.
I had high hopes. I'll give it one more visit. -

The only plus thing is all you can eat on Monday & Thursday for 10.00.. .. but if I could give negative stars I would. Our waiter was the young Spanish guy with glasses. This dude was working out of his element. Dish washing would have been more his speed. Super slow service & horrible customer service. I do not recommend this place what so ever... unless you are into waiting FOREVER & have to deal with attitudes.Slow..Slow...Slow..Slow....

Burrito California & enchilada supreme pictured. Both were delicious. We also had a Mexican flatbread. The chips were warm but a little thin to our liking but they were very good. The salsa was on point. Not too spicy for those who don't prefer heat but it was very flavorful. We will definitely be back and telling our friends about this gem! The price was right also!

This is a local favorite for sure! It's a super cozy family run restaurant and we loved everything we got here so far, so we will be regulars for sure.
BEANS
They have the beans that come with the platters which are slow cooked but not mashed, and THEY ARE SO GOOD. I must have these every time I come here now. The refried ones are mashed and you can ask them for different kinds, but these are my favorite.
SUPERMEX BURRITO
A large burrito on a platter. It's delicious and flavorful since there there three proteins in here! Beef, chicken, and shrimp! The combo is really good and I would get this to share.
TACOS
We got the carne asada, the al pastor and the chicken. All were delicious and we really enjoyed each taco. By the way, they have "american style" tacos, and they have "traditional tacos". I like the traditional which is onions and cilantro and salsa. That's all you need cause the proteins speak for itself.
MARGARITA
I get mine original margarita on the rocks with salt. It's quite big, the cocktail. Delicious
